Responsibilities
- Manage daily and monthly clinical staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with staffing ratios
- Maintain caregiver shift preferences and availability in an active scheduling database
- Respond to emergent scheduling needs with creativity and urgency
- Supervise caregivers across all shifts, including PM, NOC, and weekends
- Aid in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new caregivers
- Track and maintain associate licenses and certifications
- Provide regular updates to the Administrator and Director of Health Services on staffing, overtime, call-offs, and performance metrics
- Approve payroll and manage timecards for the clinical team
- Collaborate with HR and DHS on performance concerns, workers’ comp, and leaves of absence
- Coordinate training and continuing education for clinical staff
- Oversee budgeting, inventory, and ordering of clinical supplies
- Supervise adherence to policies and procedures under DHS direction
- Foster strong relationships with caregivers, nurses, and community leaders to support retention and satisfaction

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably with dementia-related care
- Familiarity with scheduling software and dementia care practices
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Empathetic communication style and a “can-do” attitude
- Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Commitment to working with seniors in a culturally diverse environment
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets

Pay
Anticipated pay range: $65,000 USD - $65,000 USD
