About the role
We are looking for a Clinical Specialist who can work with sales management to meet the clinical needs of healthcare providers and demonstrate how our interventional products can improve patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales management to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
- Inform customers on the latest product, therapy, and technology developments in the industry.
- Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions using company products.
- Collaborate and communicate account and other requested information to the sales team on a daily basis.
- Share insights on competitive products or account issues, opportunities with appropriate colleagues.
- Educate the customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products.
- Oversee local education and training activities including coordination and set up of programs, procedural troubleshooting, and coordination and facilitation of staff education.
- Identify, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with key decision makers, customers, and their staff, and administrative staff, etc.
- Support monitoring of product inventory levels.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors of Arts or Science, Medical training (RT, RCIS, Surgical tech, RN, NP, or first assistant) preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years directly related experience in the medical device industry, preferably in the Cardiovascular space calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff members.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong clinical orientation, analytical with financial acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and territory's customer base, emotional intelligence, previous experience with vessel closure, and providing clinical education and training to staff members.
