About the role

The Clinical Specialist assists sales representatives in developing new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts. They provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation, and maintenance of company products. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining relationships with physicians and staff, providing ongoing education and clinical expertise, troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales representatives in developing new sales opportunities and accounts with physician and hospital accounts.
  • Provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, patient care, installation, and maintenance of company products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and staff at assigned clinical sites.
  • Provide ongoing education and clinical expertise regarding the use of the company’s products.
  • Share superior clinical knowledge of the Company’s products, their clinical applications, instructions for use, and procedural techniques.
  • Provide technical and educational training to physicians and staff on the use of the company’s products.
  • Support and develop product improvements through communication with sales, marketing, and R&D personnel.
  • Perform patient follow-up to ensure customer and patient success with the implanted products.
  • Visit customers and patients in a clinical environment (hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, and surgical centers).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in implantable medical devices.
  • Operating room experience (ideally).
