Additional info about UCSF.
Equal Employment Opportunity: boilerplate to remove.
Salary Information: mention final salary subject to approvals, placement dependent on factors, link to benefits. This is substantive? It says salary info but no actual numbers. According to rule: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. The posting says "The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: ..." This is vague, no actual salary range. It's basically placeholder. According to rule, we should not create Pay section because no actual salary stated. Also Benefits: they mention link to benefits but no specifics. So we should not create Benefits section unless posting actually states them. It only gives a link, not specifics. So we should omit Benefits and Pay sections.
Schedule: not mentioned.
Thus sections we can include: About the role (maybe "About the role" or "Responsibilities"? The instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We need to decide which headings to use based on content.
We have description of role/responsibilities. Could use "About the role" heading for overview, and "Responsibilities" for duties list. Or combine.
We have qualifications/requirements: could use "Requirements" or "Qualifications". The instruction list includes both Requirements and Qualifications as possible headings. We need to decide which to use. Probably use "Qualifications" for the detailed qualifications (education, experience, skills). Could also have "Requirements" for minimum requirements and "Preferred" maybe.
We have skills: many abilities listed (communication, teamwork, etc.) Could be under "Skills". But we could also incorporate them into Qualifications.
We need to avoid thin sections. Prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we have:
- About the role (overview)
- Responsibilities (list of duties)
- Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills)
We could also include "Preferred Qualifications" but maybe not needed.
We must not repeat job title.
We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include all details from description, responsibilities, qualifications, etc.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, navigation, legal, etc. Also remove duplicated lines (like Licenses/Certifications repeated). Also remove "About Us" maybe? The "About Us" section about UCSF is substantive? It describes the employer. Might be considered substantive but not required? The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep the About UCSF description. However, we need to decide where to put it. Could be under "About UCSF" heading but not in the list of allowed headings. The allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. It does not include About Us. But we could embed that info in About the role? Might be okay to include a brief paragraph about employer under About the role? However, the instruction says use those headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities...). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use those for section headings. Likely they expect us to use those headings only. So we should fit the About UCSF info into About the role or maybe omit? The About UCSF is substantive but not about the role. However, we could treat it as part of "About the role" (the role is within UCSF). Might be acceptable.
Alternatively, we could create a section "About UCSF" but that's not in the list; risk of being considered not following instruction. Safer to incorporate into About the role.
Thus:
About the role

Then responsibilities: maybe list duties as bullet points. But we already included many duties in About the role. Could split: About the role overview, Responsibilities list. Let's extract responsibilities list: - Support patients admitted to PES and carry an outpatient caseload. - Provide consultation and support to multidisciplinary team in PES around appropriate resources for safe and effective hospital discharge planning. - Care coordination and treatment referrals to patients on the unit. - Comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, 5150 services, case management, individual therapy, substance abuse services, psychoeducation, and linkage to long-term mental health treatment. - Expertise in working with patients needing complex clinical care, system navigation, and engagement. - Carry a caseload of high risk and vulnerable patients struggling to engage with necessary mental health care. - Provide low threshold intensive case management. - Program responsive to MHSF initiative, fluid service delivery based on Behavioral Health Services needs. - Continue to support and provide direct service during natural disaster or pandemic, including deployment with temporary change in duties. We can put these in- .
Then Qualifications: include education, licensure, abilities, experience, etc.
We need to avoid duplication. The qualifications section includes both minimum requirements and preferred.
