Clinical Service Line Coordinator RN - Operating Room @ HUP

Responsibilities

• Coordination and training of new to practice nurses
• Ongoing education and refinement of nursing skills
• Collaboration with the Periop Quality and Education team
• Reinforce education and fundamental concepts
• Provide mentorship to staff
• Serve as a resource to staff
• Be flexible to the changing needs of the department
• Complete all responsibilities independently
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Display professionalism at all times

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
• A minimum of three years of progressive nursing experience with demonstrated leadership skills
• Graduate of an NLN approved school of professional nursing
• Current Pennsylvania RN license
• Preferred experience in the OR (scrubbing & circulating)
• Preferred experience in Cardiac, Vascular, and Transplant (scrubbing & circulating)

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in intraoperative nursing
• Confidence and expertise across service lines

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
