About the Role

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, you will independently utilize the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic, and efficient care for women before, during, and after delivery. You will ensure both the nursing and emotional needs of patients are met throughout the entire birthing process, adhering to HMNMH’s policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women during all stages of labor and delivery.
• Circulate in C-Section recovery room.
• Implement Baby-Friendly initiatives with supporting education documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Address the emotional and nursing needs of patients throughout the birthing process.

Requirements

• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP provider cards.
• Advance AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
• 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• National certification in specialty preferred.

Pay

Opening pay range for Clinical RN: $51.31 to $78.76 per hour.
