About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care within a hospital setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role requires completion of a nursing program and obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Use critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.
• Adhere to safety protocols as this is a safety-sensitive position.
• Provide patient education on health management.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs comprehensively.
• Develop, implement, and modify care plans.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Ability to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills.
