About the role

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. They will need to obtain licensure within 90 days of completing their nursing program to maintain employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Assess and evaluate patients' physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical thinking skills.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with healthcare team members, promoting patient-centered care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• This position is safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
