Clinical Research Registered Nurse
About the role
The Clinical Research Registered Nurse (CRN) position is within the Clinical Research department at McLaren Health Care, based in Detroit. This is a full-time, bi-weekly schedule with 80 hours per bi-weekly period, working days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Supports the recruitment, compliance, and follow-up of patients for clinical trials adhering to Good Clinical Practice standards.
- Assesses, monitors, evaluates, and documents patient compliance and response to protocol treatment.
- Leads and supervises other members of the clinical team to ensure adherence to clinical trial plans and outcomes.
- Participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.
- Demonstrates professionalism and embraces cultural diversity through participation in meetings and effective communication.
- Provides necessary documentation for clinical research support staff to determine eligibility and maintain compliance.
Requirements
- Ancillary experience in nursing, including two years of experience.
- A current Registered Nurse license from the State of Michigan.
- An Associate Degree from an accredited nursing program.
Preferred
- Research experience in the designated area of work.
- Nursing experience in clinical research focus areas.
