Registered Nurse - Clinical Research
About the role
CenExel’s research sites specialize in Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials. Our Centers of Excellence comprise some of the most well-respected and long-standing research facilities in the country. Specialty areas of research include Psychiatry, Acute Post Op Pain, Asian Bridging, Dermatology, GI, and Neurology. Each Center has extensive experience in complex early phase trials and all sites offer in-patient capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of daily clinical study activities.
- Serve as a liaison between the investigative site and the Sponsor.
- Accurately and ethically document all information obtained throughout the clinical research process.
- Recruit potential study subjects and screen them for eligibility.
- Schedule subjects for study-specific assessments.
- Complete and maintain Case Report Forms in accordance with study protocol.
- Maintain inventory of all data and supplies.
- Attend training meetings, staff meetings, initiation meetings, and other meetings as assigned.
- Document, report, and follow up on adverse events and serious adverse events.
- Conduct the informed consent process according to CenExel Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow up on all laboratory results.
- Maintain safety standards when performing job responsibilities.
- Maintain study logs and site relations.
- Ensure proper collection, processing, and shipment of laboratory specimens.
- Answer questions for other members of support staff, study patients, or other medical staff as necessary.
- Assist with quality assurance activities and complete queries, as applicable.
- Obtain Principal Investigator signatures on necessary documents.
- Administer investigational medication and follow subjects throughout the study stay, per protocol.
- Ensure accountability and adequate supply for study and clinical drugs.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current license in CAMust be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure and/or training.
- Clear verbal communication skills, demonstrated through interactions with patients, staff, Sponsor representatives, etc.
- Self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Pay
HOURLY RANGE $40.00 – $43.00 (Depending on education, experience, and skillset)
Schedule
Monday - Friday 03:00 pm - 11:30 pm + rotating weekends
