Clinical Research Coordinator I/II - McCance Center
About the role
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will coordinate across the lead Investigator and Study Team to carry out the day-to-day duties involved in enrolling, tracking, and following up on patients involved in clinical trial studies. The CRC will perform study functions and will serve as a liaison between participants and clinical research study staff and investigators, as well as a resource for participants and their care partners.
Responsibilities
- Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verifies that all sponsor requirements are met.
- Recruiting patients for clinical trials and conducting phone interviews.
- Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.
- Prepares data for analysis and data entry.
- Documents patient visits and procedures.
- Aids in the preparation of regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
- Aids in interviewing study subjects.
- Aids in study regulator submissions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
- Experience: Some relevant research project work, 0-1 year preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Working knowledge of clinical research protocols.
- Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs.
Additional Job Details
- Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus.
- This is a full-time (40 hours/week) onsite position based out of our Assembly Row location in Somerville, MA, with regular travel to Charlestown Navy Yard and other Mass General Brigham (MGB) sites.
- The hiring team has the flexibility to hire at the CRC I or II level, depending on a candidate's experience and skillset.
