Clinical Research Coordinator I/II - McCance Center

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will coordinate across the lead Investigator and Study Team to carry out the day-to-day duties involved in enrolling, tracking, and following up on patients involved in clinical trial studies. The CRC will perform study functions and will serve as a liaison between participants and clinical research study staff and investigators, as well as a resource for participants and their care partners.

Responsibilities

• Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verifies that all sponsor requirements are met.
• Recruiting patients for clinical trials and conducting phone interviews.
• Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.
• Prepares data for analysis and data entry.
• Documents patient visits and procedures.
• Aids in the preparation of regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
• Aids in interviewing study subjects.
• Aids in study regulator submissions.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• Experience: Some relevant research project work, 0-1 year preferred.

• Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Working knowledge of clinical research protocols.
• Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs.

Additional Job Details

• Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus.
• This is a full-time (40 hours/week) onsite position based out of our Assembly Row location in Somerville, MA, with regular travel to Charlestown Navy Yard and other Mass General Brigham (MGB) sites.
• The hiring team has the flexibility to hire at the CRC I or II level, depending on a candidate's experience and skillset.
