Clinical Recruiter (Temporary)

About the Role

Cartwheel is an early-stage company building a new kind of mental health program for kids that puts schools at the center. We support school staff who see kids every day, collaborating with them to enable earlier intervention, higher student and family engagement in care, and better coordination among trusted adults in a student's life. Backed by Menlo Ventures, Reach Capital, General Catalyst, BoxGroup, and Able Partners, we're looking for mission-driven teammates.

This is a temporary W2 Full-Time, Salaried position for a 6-month contract, remote in the U.S., starting September 2026. We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Recruiter to join our clinical recruitment efforts and collaborate with teams across Cartwheel to meet recruiting needs. Reporting to Cartwheel's Director of Talent Acquisition, the ideal candidate will have experience in clinical recruiting, expert sourcing skills, a strategic mindset, and world-class interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full cycle clinical recruitment in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team
• Play a critical role in developing and executing a multi-state recruitment strategy
• Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking and direct sourcing, to identify talent
• Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
• Promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process and contribute to our diversity hiring initiatives
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting with a proven track record of sourcing and hiring great talent
• Experience in healthcare/clinical recruitment hiring licensed mental health therapists
• Ability to quickly build authentic, trusting relationships with both internal stakeholders and candidates
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools
• Experience with Gem (ATS, sourcing, and reporting platform), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed (sourcing)
