About the role
The Clinical Recruiter will report to the VP of Recruiting and will play a key role in building strong talent pipelines for GoodVets. This position is a temporary contract role with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Proactively search for potential Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Veterinary Receptionists through various channels.
- Conduct thorough screenings of candidates, assessing their qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hospital hiring managers.
- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with candidates, keeping them informed about hospital opportunities and addressing their questions and concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, market shifts, and emerging recruitment strategies.
- Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers during the negotiation process.
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure that offers align with hospital policies and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records using applicant tracking systems.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and conversion rates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience recommended.
- Knowledge of the recruitment process, talent sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment metrics.
- Strong communication and listening skills, able to connect with varied individuals across the organization.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, able to analyze data, identify trends, and develop recommendations for strategic action.
- An approach to recruiting anchored in exceptional customer service practices, including attention to producing quality results while building positive relationships.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about making someone's day by delivering outstanding candidate and stakeholder care.
- Able to balance a high-volume requisition load with meaningful candidate engagement.

$65,000—$75,000 USD
Schedule
