Responsibilities
- Provision of primary psychiatric care to all assigned patients including evidence-based behavioral health services.
- Co-leadership of psycho-educational and psychotherapeutic groups for appropriate patients as assigned.
- Responsible for clinical evaluations, treatment decisions, and dispositions for assigned patients.
- Participate with the IMPACT team and other inter-disciplinary teams in Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Psychiatry for treatment planning.
- Liaison with patient families and external agencies and other medical specialties for assigned patients.
- Teaching and supervision of child psychiatry fellows, general psychiatry residents and other trainees working in IMPACT program.
- Adherence to all Federal, State, and City regulations.
Requirements
Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
New York State Medical License
Qualifications
Additional qualifications include:
- Experience in providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$167,400 to $168,650
