About the role

The selected finalist will provide direct licensed therapeutic programming to clients in an alcohol and other drug treatment program. They will perform all aspects of program content independently, including assessment/evaluation, psycho-educational programming, monitoring and reporting, teaching, training, security, and professional standards, as well as lead work functions as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Lead work functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Minnesota licensure as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, and LMFT) as defined by Minnesota Statute 245.462 subd. 18, clause 1-6.
  • Current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral science program.
  • Two (2) years of experience providing behavioral health clinical services, including individual and group therapy.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing lead work direction to other behavioral health staff.
  • Experience working in a correctional/secured environment.
  • Experience providing services to clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to other behavioral health staff.
  • Experience providing mental health clinical services.
  • Commitment to providing culturally competent services, with an ongoing commitment to training, development, and licensure maintenance.

Skills

  • Verbal and written communication skills, including proficient documentation skills.
  • Interpersonal and human relation skills.

$35.30 - $52.35 / hourly; $73,706 - $109,306 / annually

Schedule

Day Shift/8 am to 4:30 pm
