Clinical Pharmacist - Per Diem

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide patient care in an emergency department setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to respond to medical emergencies and support operational pharmacy services. The role includes direct care for adult and pediatric patients, with a secondary focus on Pediatrics/NICU. The pharmacist will serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students, working primarily evening shifts on a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in a high-volume emergency department
• Deliver direct patient care for adult and pediatric populations, including Pediatrics/NICU
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to respond to medical emergencies
• Support operational pharmacy services
• Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students

Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor's degree in pharmacy
• Active Oregon Pharmacist License

Qualifications

Preferred experience includes at least one year of acute care hospital pharmacy or completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
