Clinical Operations Manager- ED

About the role

The Clinical Operations Manager-ED is responsible for translating and achieving strategic priorities and outcomes in the Emergency Department. They lead an interprofessional team to create an environment where excellence in patient and organizational outcomes can be achieved.

Responsibilities

• Translates and achieves strategic priorities and outcomes in quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences.
• Provides oversight of the unit that operates 24x7, weekends, and holidays.
• Leverages clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices to advocate for and embed evidenced-based practices and professional nursing standards.
• Advances nursing practice by leading the implementation of best practices and professional standards.
• Ensures the unit is operational and staffed effectively, including availability to round to evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) or Master of Nursing (MSN).
• Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time, onsite role at Fishers Hospital with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule. Availability to round to evenings and weekends is required.
