Clinical Office Assistant

About the role

Working with an extensive client base, TEKsystems is searching for experienced Clinical/Medical professionals in the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. This is a Contract‑to‑Hire (6‑months) position based out of McLean, VA, fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform prior authorizations
• Room patients and prepare charts for doctors and nurses
• Handle prescription refill information and enter it into the system for nursing and medical staff
• Guide patients through the first ~30% of their visit
• See approximately 30+ patients per day
• Assist with light procedures, possibly helping with instruments and drawing medication/prescriptions
