About the Role
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Clinical Office Assistant for our Radiology department located within the Ft Thomas Hospital.
This position serves as a multi-functional front office role responsible for customer service, patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support within a healthcare setting. The associate provides exceptional service to patients, visitors, providers, and staff through in-person, phone, and email communication while managing registration, insurance collection, authorizations, pre-certifications, and payment processing.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, every 4th Saturday, no holidays
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient information and assist with scheduling and clerical tasks
- Answer and route calls, and manage in-person, phone, and email communication
- Maintain medical records through scanning and EMR documentation
- Support daily office operations, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
- Resolve patient concerns while providing quality patient care
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- 1 year of experience in an office front desk role, healthcare registration, scheduling, or other patient-facing healthcare positions
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Computer fluency/literacy
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
