Clinical Nurse - Rapid Response/Code Team - Night Shift

About the role

Provides hospital-wide emergency response as a Rapid Response/Code Team Clinical Nurse, serving as a key resource and educator for staff during critical events such as Code Blue, Code White, and traumas.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Offer guidance and education on less familiar procedures to staff.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and family.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.
• ACLS certification required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Active RN license.
• Ability to work safely, maintaining constant alertness.
