Clinical Nurse - Rapid Response/Code Team - Night Shift

Role Overview The Rapid Response/Code Team Clinical Nurse acts as a hospital-wide resource, responding to emergency codes such as Code Blue, White, and trauma events. They provide guidance and education to staff on unfamiliar procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality care. Responsibilities Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.Offer clinical guidance and staff education on procedures and tasks.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients, considering their values and cultural backgrounds.Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on managing illness, medication, and post-treatment needs.Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.ACLS certification required.Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.Current RN license.Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
