Clinical Nurse - Rapid Response/Code Team - Night

Role Summary

The Rapid Response/Code Team Clinical Nurse provides hospital-wide emergency response and serves as a clinical resource, offering guidance and education to staff during critical situations such as Code Blue, Code White, traumas, and CAT events.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency codes and situations across the hospital.
• Assist in clinical procedures and educate staff on less familiar tasks.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment care.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain professional development and ensure communication of care plans across the continuum.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.
• ACLS certification required.
• RN license required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role.
