Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care in an outpatient setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and medication administration. It requires developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a healing environment by educating patients and families on post-treatment care and medication use.
- Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.
- Develop and implement care plans with clear goals, collaborating with team members and ensuring communication.
- Work in a safety-sensitive capacity, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in critical care, emergency, or urgent care settings preferred.
- Current RN licensure; BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
