Clinical Nurse - Pre-Admission Testing Center

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a hybrid RN role involving assessments, chart preparation, medical record retrieval, scheduling, and phone triage within an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-person patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, participating in professional development.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to care.Maintain communication across care continuum, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Qualifications & Skills: RN license required; Illinois license needed within 60 days of hire.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and less than two years of experience.Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.Ability to work safely and remain alert in a fast-paced environment.
