Clinical Nurse - Pediatric ER, Part Time

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a pediatric trauma center, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least two years of pediatric or emergency department experience.
• Experience in pediatric acute care or emergency nursing is advantageous.
• Ability to work safely, demonstrating alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
