Clinical Nurse - Pediatric ER, Part Time

The role involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Responsibilities include: Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.Using critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers, including cultural and spiritual factors. Qualifications and skills: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; RN licensure required.Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of pediatric or emergency department experience.Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive position.
