Clinical Nurse - Pediatric ER, Part Time

About the role

Provide direct patient care in a pediatric emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care
• Educate families on illness management and post-treatment care
• Ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or associate's degree
• Active RN licensure
• Preferred experience in pediatric or emergency nursing
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and maintain alertness
