Clinical Nurse - Part Time Night ICU

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential, along with assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and educate patients and families on managing health conditions.
• Participate in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans aligned with care standards, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assess patient needs holistically, considering values, barriers, and preferences.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• RN licensure required; no prior experience necessary, but two years of experience is preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
