About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration. The nurse collaborates with the interprofessional team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Critical nursing skills are utilized to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and safe working practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with oncology experience and chemo certification preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to professional development and regulatory compliance
