Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse Manager oversees a clinical unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Supervise patient care, review policies, and promote continuous quality improvement.Develop and manage departmental budgets, allocate resources, and monitor costs.Recruit, hire, evaluate, and mentor staff; coordinate educational programs.Formulate policies, communicate procedures, and drive clinical service enhancements.Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs and improve the patient experience.Lead initiatives to enhance staff satisfaction and create a positive work environment.Represent the department in meetings and interdepartmental groups. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a BSN or MSN.Current nursing license in Illinois and CPR certification.Specialty certification preferred, with a commitment to obtain within two years.Minimum of three years' clinical experience and three years' management experience.
