(HSM) is a full-service healthcare management organization providing development, management, and administrative services for dialysis facilities across Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. With 35 years of experience, HSM is recognized for high-quality patient care, physician collaboration, and efficient operations. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to join our dialysis team at West Iredell Dialysis Center in Statesville, NC.

Responsibilities

• Promote the organizational philosophy, objectives, and standards of care, as well as the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act and other governing agency requirements.
• Foster a harmonious working environment through effective communication and team-building.
• Provide problem resolution and communicate operational issues.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with safety policies and standards of care.
• Plan, assess, facilitate, and monitor staff development activities to ensure clinical competence, including:
  • Comprehensive orientation programs for new employees.
  • Opportunities for in-services and seminars relevant to nursing practice.
  • Communication and implementation of facility policies and procedures.
  • Timely and meaningful performance reviews for all employees.
• Manage and facilitate efficient quality care through the Quality Assessment and Improvement Process (QAPI).
• Identify and implement changes to enhance patient care delivery and educational needs in line with organizational policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external professional and regulatory agency standards.
• Maintain a leadership role through program planning, development, and facility management coverage in the absence of the Facility Manager and/or Nurse Administrator.
• Pursue continuing education as a self-directed professional.
• Implement and monitor the facility’s expense budget, including operational and staffing components, in collaboration with the Facility Manager and/or Nurse Administrator.
• Perform additional duties such as policy development and data collection.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current RN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
• ACLS certification.
• 1 year of recent dialysis experience.
• 1–3 years of management experience (preferred, but not limited to hemodialysis).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill in as needed.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Must successfully pass Ishihara’s Color Blind Test.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).
