About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) at Healogics is responsible for coordinating clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This includes patient care assessment, planning, and implementation, as well as collaborating with other healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments and treatments as per protocols and procedures.
- Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborates with Program Director and Medical Director to align with program objectives and ensure optimal healing outcomes.
- Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and recognition.
- Coordinates Vein Care services if applicable, and assists in providing care after completing Healogics training.
- Works with Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Performs documentation assistant duties and may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing Healogics hyperbaric safety director training.
- Adheres to Healogics and hospital policies, ensuring compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Department of Health (DOH), and CMS guidelines.
- Performs patient care based on Center staffing needs, and fulfills other duties as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- One year of RN experience required, with two years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.

- Physical demands: stationary position for extended periods, viewing computer screen for extended periods, frequent keying, moving items up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching/grasping/touching with hands, traveling, exposure to hazards, proximity to moving objects.
