About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in managing the clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. They are responsible for coordinating patient care, ensuring quality outcomes, and collaborating with various healthcare providers to enhance patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting assessments and implementing treatment plans according to protocols and procedures.
- Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborates with other health care providers and key hospital personnel to address clinical and patient needs.
- Engages in staff development, offering both general and individual instruction, and providing recognition through positive reinforcement and feedback.
- Coordinates Vein Care services if provided, and collaborates with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve quality indicators.
- Performs documentation as a scribe and acts as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing Healogics training.
- Manages patient care based on Center staffing needs, performing other duties as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- One year of RN experience required, with two years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.

- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Effective planning, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
Skills
- Current BLS required.
- Knowledge of hospital databases and web-based systems.
