Clinical Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum

About the role

Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Engages in activities supporting patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents personalized care plans collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Ensures effective communication of care plans across the continuum of care.
• Maintains a safe environment, adhering to safety-sensitive standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN licensure.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• No previous supervisory experience required.
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience is a plus.

Schedule

The role involves working night shifts and participating in call rotations.
