Clinical Nurse GYN ONC

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care on a 30-bed unit specializing in female-related issues, primarily GYN Oncology, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, symptom, pain, palliative, and hospice care. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in a patient-centered environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Qualifications & Skills Required: BSN or ADN, RN license, nursing diploma or associate degree.Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and at least 2 years of experience.Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
