Clinical Nurse GYN ONC

About the Role

This position involves providing direct, patient-centered nursing care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. The role emphasizes education for patients and families regarding illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team—including nurses, case managers, social workers, spiritual care, pharmacy, and physicians—is essential to coordinate comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance in all aspects of patient care.
• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care.

Requirements

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• No prior experience required; less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
• Commitment to patient safety, education, and teamwork.
