Clinical Nurse - General Medicine
About the role
Provides direct pediatric patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement. Maintains a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred (less than 2 years of experience)
- Prior pediatric nursing experience is a plus
- No supervisory experience needed

Schedule
