Clinical Nurse - Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Role Overview

This nursing position provides direct patient care across all ages in a high-quality emergency department with 26 beds, including a primary stroke center.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Promoting patient and family-centered care
• Educating regarding illness management and home care
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans
• Ensuring effective communication across care teams
• Maintaining safety and regulatory compliance
• Evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
• Respecting patient values and barriers

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience
• No supervisory experience required
• Must work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety as priorities
