About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will serve as a leader, coach, mentor, and facilitator, working collaboratively to ensure quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include the orientation, training, competency validation, and continuing education of clinical staff. You will contribute to professional growth and satisfaction through shared decision-making initiatives at the clinical, departmental, and system levels. Additionally, you will impact program development and lead evidence-based practice initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Orientation, training, and competency validation of clinical staff
- Development and delivery of continuing education programs
- Program development and leadership in evidence-based practice initiatives
- Participation in shared decision-making at clinical, departmental, and system levels
- Mentoring future nursing leaders and collaborating on hospital and system-wide nursing committees
Requirements
- Three to five years of recent acute care Clinical Nurse Education experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN or MSN required; Master’s degree strongly preferred)
- PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in an approved state through the Nursing Licensure Compact
- Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross)
Qualifications
- Certification in specialty is preferred
