About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility includes an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults. EIRMC is part of the HCA Healthcare network, which includes more than 300 affiliate facilities across the country.
Requirements
- RN (Registered Nurse) license
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ year of experience required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date)
- ENPC (required 12 months from date of hire)
