Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care within a fast-paced, high-level surgical environment, primarily supporting cardiothoracic procedures in a hospital with a Level I trauma program. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team and families.Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Develop individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; BSN preferred.Licensure: Valid RN license required.Experience: New graduates accepted; 2+ years of experience preferred for advanced roles.Skills: Passion for teamwork, commitment to orientation, and ability to work safely and alertly.
