Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist - PRN

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and interpret laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include: preparing specimens, conducting routine and specialized tests, analyzing and recording quality control data, maintaining equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed and maintain patient confidentiality.Participate in quality improvement, manage supplies, and adapt communication based on patient needs.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or related field.Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license (or within 180 days of hire).Certification such as ASCP, AMT, or AAB as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).Skills: proficiency with computer applications, effective communication, analytical problem-solving, good judgment, and interpersonal skills.Physical/Environmental demands: ability to exert physical effort, work with potentially hazardous biological materials, and follow safety protocols to prevent exposure to infectious agents and hazardous waste.
