Clinical Manager – Veterinary Internal Medicine

About the Role

Oversee daily operations of the Internal Medicine service to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced specialty environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 4-5 veterinary technicians and assistants
• Provide hands-on clinical support while managing administrative responsibilities such as scheduling and performance management
• Manage staffing levels, timecards, and on-call coverage
• Deliver coaching, performance feedback, and employee evaluations
• Support technician training, skill development, and team engagement
• Collaborate with veterinary specialists and hospital leadership to optimize caseload management and workflow
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, DEA)
• Facilitate team meetings and maintain clear communication across departments

Requirements

• Active CVT, LVT, or RVT license (any state strongly preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of veterinary experience
• Internal Medicine experience required
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to lead in a supportive team culture

Pay

Pay Range: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour with growth opportunities based on tenure and performance. Sign-on bonus available. Quarterly performance incentives based on hospital performance.

Schedule

Four 10-hour workdays (Monday-Friday).
