Clinical Manager- Surgicare Center
Overview
Indiana University Health is seeking a Clinical Manager for their Surgicare Center at Riley Outpatient Surgery Center. The role combines clinical experience with leadership practices to achieve excellent outcomes and translate and achieve strategic priorities and outcomes.
Accountabilities
- Translate and achieve strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences.
- Lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes.
- Advocate for and embed evidenced-based practices and professional nursing standards in nursing practice.
Candidate Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
- If bachelor degree not in nursing, requires a Master of Nursing (MSN).
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA is required.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
