About the role
The Clinical Manager role at College Board is a hybrid or fully remote position. Candidates must have a Psy.D. or Ph.D. in a relevant psychological or educational field. The role requires 4 to 6 years of direct work experience as a professional in psychological/educational assessment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cross-program reviews of disability documentation to determine eligibility for accommodations on College Board tests.
- Produce accurate and well-reasoned eligibility determinations to ensure access to College Board tests for test-takers with disabilities.
- Handle direct verbal and written communications with secondary schools, education professionals, parents/guardians, and test-takers.
- Educate callers about the review and appeal processes and provide guidance on how accommodations are provided on College Board tests.
- Maintain communication with relevant professional organizations to highlight College Board's mission to serve test-takers with disabilities.
- Use various databases to gather relevant student data and consult with colleagues from both intra and interdisciplinary professions.
- Provide and receive feedback to ensure the effectiveness, quality assurance, and efficiency of the eligibility process.
- Develop and maintain materials that provide information relevant to accommodations on College Board tests, including presentations, print, and web-based educational tools, and resources for training and professional development.
- Collaborate and consult with colleagues to ensure the effectiveness of the eligibility process and provide feedback.
- Enjoy and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Show an ability to give and receive feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements
The candidate needs a Psy.D./Ph.D. degree in a relevant psychological or educational field. They should have 4 to 6 years of direct work experience as a professional in psychological/educational assessment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of assessments and procedures as they relate to the determination of various disabilities and appropriate accommodations. They should also possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Skills
The Clinical Manager should be proficient in Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, and Slack. They should enjoy and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and show an ability to give and receive feedback.

Pay
The hiring range for this role is $64,000 – $110,000. Your exact salary will depend on your location, experience, and how your background compares to others in similar roles at the College Board.
Schedule
This is a fully remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office).
