Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience at every visit. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift
• Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during their shifts and assist in meeting department goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Ensure exceptional customer service
• Manage crew and handle food safety

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and enthusiasm for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to manage in corporate-owned restaurants

Qualifications

Competitive wages starting at $16.50-$20 per hour, depending on availability and experience. Medical, dental, and vision coverage, uniforms, free employee meals, and a 401K plan are available. Flexible schedules are offered.
