Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment, utilizing critical thinking and effective communication skills.
• Make decisive judgments and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Administer specialized treatments such as chemotherapy and biotherapy, requiring ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certification.
• Possess department-specific credentials, including ACLS for ICU, ED, PACU, and other specialty areas, and PALS for Pediatric units (excluding NICU).
• Obtain certifications like Fetal Monitoring for L&D nurses, with a six-month window for newly licensed RNs to acquire required credentials.
• Adhere to mandatory educational requirements outlined in the organization’s guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Critical thinking, effective communication, and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Relevant certifications for specialized areas and treatments.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving healthcare needs.
