About the role
Careage Home Health is searching for an RN Clinical Manager to support our Director of Clinical Services and Executive Director. This is a full-time position based in Bellevue, WA, Monday–Friday, with an hourly wage of $55–$62 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise home health services delivered in patients’ residences in accordance with physician orders and strive to provide the highest quality of care.
- Provide oversight of care planning for Private Duty clients; assist the Director with program supervision, coordination, and oversight; resolve client and caregiver matters.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Services with recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training, and disciplinary actions for caregiver and nursing personnel.
- Orient new patient care personnel and participate in the preparation and implementation of policies and procedures that meet Medicare, Medicaid, accrediting bodies, state, and local laws.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary team services, patient care, and referrals; organize nursing services and develop safe standards.
- Ensure confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information; serve as a resource to employees and communicate effectively with physicians.
- Investigate and report any problems relating to patient care or employee well-being; immediately report accidents, incidents, lost articles, or unusual occurrences to the Director of Clinical Services/Executive Director.
- Attend continuing education programs and share information with staff; monitor equipment for appropriate use and minimize misuse.
- Assist with the Agency’s ongoing QAPI program; assure development, implementation, and updates of individualized patient plans of care.
- Review patient medical records for compliance with federal, state, accrediting bodies, local, and Agency policies and guidelines.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Services in conducting patient care conferences, staff meetings, and maintaining documentation; participate in community education projects.
- Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available; perform nursing functions during staff shortages and share on-call responsibilities when needed.
- Make staff and patient assignments and on-call; act as Director of Clinical Services in the Director’s absence; continually assess patient needs.
- Supervise the Home Health Aide and caregiver programs, ensuring compliance with all service and reporting requirements; ensure compliance with Licensed Care and Private Duty policies and procedures.
- Participate in the orientation, training, and continuing education of home care aides.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
- Ability to work in Bellevue, WA in-office.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of total hours worked within King and/or Pierce County.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of home health experience preferred.
