About the Role

The position requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. The role may involve odd shifts and weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Providing quality patient care
• Adhering to department-specific credentials
• Ensuring compliance with certification requirements for chemotherapy, ACLS, PALS, and fetal monitoring
• Maintaining safety and delivering compassionate care

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Administering chemotherapy with ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certification
• ACLS certification for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas
• PALS certification for Pediatric areas (excluding NICU)
• Fetal Monitoring certification for L&D RNs through recognized credentialing bodies
• Newly licensed RNs have 6 months to obtain necessary certifications
