About the role

Manages the daily operations of the assigned department, unit, or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. May provide direct care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensures regulatory compliance.
• Aid in identifying, determining, and addressing the need for systems, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor usage and oversee the proper functioning of equipment and ensure adequate supplies.
• Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Schedule, recruit, handle payroll, and engage students.
• Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that align with the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Assess the quality of patient care delivered.
• Assess the needs of patients and families and provide patient and family-centered care.
• Manage complaints and conflicts through to resolution.

• Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)

• BLS Cert Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
